On Monday, 5 March 2018, the Knesset Plenum approved in the first reading a bill, which provides for deducting funds from Palestinian tax revenues equal to the allocations earmarked to prisoners and martyrs’ families if these are paid by the Palestinian Authority, Palestine Liberation
Organisation, or any relevant body.
In contrast with 10 MKs, a total of 52 MKs voted in favour of the bill.
