The symposium panel hosted Israeli affairs researcher Dr. Mohannad Mustafa, Law specialist Alaa’ Mahajna, and moderated by Mr. Muhannad Abdulhamid.

Odeh: A Right Wing Government in Israel Can Be Prevented if the “Joint List” Wins 15 seats

Ramallah: The head of the “Joint List” and the Secretary General of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality, Ayman Odeh said that if the “Joint List” wins 15 seats in the coming elections scheduled to take place in 17 days, it might help in preventing the formation of a right-wing government in Israel. Showing that this is possible if the turnout of Palestinian voters in Israel is relatively high.

MADAR Symposium: Jabarin: the Accelerated Pace of Judiazation Planning Threatens to Overturn the Balance in East Jerusalem within a Few Years.

Ramallah: Professor Yousef Jabarin said the Zionist national plans, and the Israeli plans that will follow, dealt with the Palestinian space as an empty one, excluding any signal to any Palestinian or Arabic name.

MADAR CENTER

The Palestinian Forum for Israeli Studies (MADAR) is an independent research centre specialising in Israeli affairs, based in Ramallah, Palestine. MADAR was established in 2000 by a group of Palestinian intellectuals and academics, including the late poet Mahmoud Darwish, Dr. Lily Feidy, Dr. Ali Jarbawi, Dr. Ahmad Harb, Mr. Walid Al-Ahmad and Mr. Akram Haniyyeh. The centre was registered as a not-for-profit organisation with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, and obtained a research centre’s operational licensing from the Palestinian Ministry of Information.
